The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea is a direct-to-video animated film produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It is a sequel to the 1989 film The Little Mermaid. The story follows Ariel and Eric's daughter, Melody, who longs to explore the ocean despite her parents' fears of the sea. When the evil sea witch Morgana threatens their world, Melody embarks on an adventure to save her family, discovering her true heritage and the importance of being true to oneself.
