Made in Abyss is a Japanese anime film based on the manga series by Akihito Tsukushi. It follows the story of Riko, a young orphan girl, who lives in the town of Orth on the edge of the Abyss, a massive, mysterious chasm. Determined to find her mother, who is believed to have descended into the Abyss, Riko befriends a humanoid robot named Reg and embarks on a perilous journey into its depths, facing unimaginable dangers and uncovering hidden secrets.
